Bemerkung: This work is playable by any group of three or more instruments in a form decided by the performers. It is inspired by M.C. Escher's exceedingly popular lithograph "Convex and Concave" of 1955, translating convex to on-beat and concave to off-beat. The sense of on-beat and off-beat keeps switching over and is made ambiguous by the interaction of the three parts (2022): https://www.australianmusiccentre.com.au/workversion/davidson-robert-concave-convex/11667.
